Piers Morgan screams out in pain as he's hooked up to labour simulation machine and made to experience childbirth live on TV

Piers Morgan screamed out in agony as he simulated childbirth live on TV.
The 54-year-old presenter, while hosting Good Morning Britain, was hooked up to a "labour simulator" so he can feel what women go through when giving birth.

The pain Piers was in was so intense that his face looked like it was about to burst. When he couldn't take it anymore, he ripped the pads off his chest, telling the cameras and the machine operator: "That’s enough."

The outspoken presenter then said: "That cannot be what childbirth is like, really. I can’t believe that. Is that really what childbirth is like? I can’t believe that."

But Piers was only experiencing half of what childbirth is like because he only had to endure contractions and not the pain and tear that comes from actually pushing the baby out.

Piers later apologized to women for ever making light of childbirth.
He said: "On balance, for the women of Great Britain, I probably owe you a slight apology.

"I’m very glad that we don’t have to go through this. I’ve got to say, that was agony. If that is what you honestly go through then my respect for women in terms of childbirth has gone through the roof.

"That was painful.

"I’m never again going to joke about childbirth."
He also took to Instagram to apologize to women.

Web users were amused by Piers' reaction after he was shown just a bit of the pain women suffer during childbirth, and they took to Twitter to poke fun at him.

One tweeted: "Hilarious seeing Piers Morgan experiencing childbirth pains for just a few minutes I wonder how he would cope with hours and hours."

Another added: "Funniest thing I’ve seen on TV in a while!! Piers Morgan experiencing the effects of child birth after saying men suffer too. Hilarious!"

Court extends prison stay of police inspector who ‘killed’ Kolade Johnson till June 10th

An Ebute-Meta Magistrates’ Court, Lagos has extended till June 10, its remand order against a dismissed Police Inspector, Olalekan Ogunyemi, charged with murdering a football fan, Kolade Johnson.

This means that Ogunyemi, 45, who has already spent 30 days in Ikoyi Prison custody following his remand by the court on April 6, will now stay in custody for 35 more days.
Magistrate A.O. Salawu extended the remand order because the advice on the case which was expected this morning from the Office of the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), is not ready.

Ogunyemi was also not in court. The suspect, of No. 17, Alhaji Ede Street, Igando, was brought before the court on April 6, on a one-count charge of murder. Prosecuting Inspector Kehinde Olatunde alleged that the defendant committed the offence on March 31, at about 5:10pm, at Onipetesi Estate, Idi-Mangoro, Lagos.

He alleged that Ogunyemi, who served in the Anti Cultism Unit of Lagos State Police Command, shot Johnson, a 36-year-old father of one, to death, with his Ak47 rifle.
The offences, the prosecutor said contravened Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

INEC job is too tempting. I was offered money to rig elections' - Kwara State REC

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Kwara State, Garba Madami has revealed that some politicians in the state approached him to rig the 2019 election in their favour.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin today, Madami said he rejected the offers and stood his ground on delivering a credible election to the people of Kwara.

“There was pressure by politicians who offered me money to compromise the 2019 general election in Kwara State, but I stood my ground and refused to give in. The nature of our job at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is too tempting. It is left between you and God to do the right thing and keep your integrity, or compromise and lose your integrity. You may even go to jail” he said.
The Kwara REC lamented the money politics being played in Nigeria and the effrontery of politicians in their attempts to buy votes and bribe electoral officers to do their bidding.
“The politicians have money and some of them feel that they can buy anybody with the money. It is a matter of integrity; it is left for you to be careful and work transparently to keep your integrity.

“What I did in Kwara State before the elections was to go on air and tell the people that no amount of money can buy me. I made them understand that their votes would count and I was not ready to compromise" he said.
The All progressives Congress (APC) won all the elections in Kwara, clearing all 24 state House of Assembly seats and all three senatorial slots,

highlighted by the loss of Senate President Bukola Saraki, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Ibrahim Oloriegbe.
