6 Students Charged With ’1300 Years’ Jail Terms For R*ping A 15-Year-Old!
Six Texas men between the ages of 18 and twenty may spend the next 1300 years, or more, behind bars after they were indicted for the gang-rape of a 15-year-old student. The alleged r*pists are Devoric Javon Evans, 20; Lamont Tray Davis, 19; Day’tron Derrell Smith, 18; Da’Juan Oshea Degrate, 18; Cory Darnell Hall, 18 and Douglas Demond Canada, 19.
A WacoTrib report states that the six accused were indicted on a total of 91 counts that could see them getting prison terms of more than 1,300 years each.
Canada was “indicted on 13 counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and three counts of s*xual assault of a child” while the other five “were indicted on 13 counts of first-degree felony aggravated s*xual assault of a child and two counts of s*xual assault of a child, a second-degree felony” according to the report.
Wrong move goes bad The victim, a student of Waco High School, had skipped school with two other students Canada and Degrate.
According to her report, the students drove her to a house where four other men were waiting. Canada then had s*x with her in the bathroom before offering her to the others who r*ped her in turn.
“I told him to stop, but he wouldn’t.” “Then he walked me out to the bedroom and the other boys were there. They all had s*x with me one at a time,” she told the police. The girl reported the incident and was admitted into a hospital.
“She went with a couple of boys she thought she knew, and then a bad situation became much worse,” Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton was quoted as saying after the men were arrested.
An millennium behind bars If convicted, Canada now faces a maximum sentence of 1,360 years in prison, while the other five face at least 1,340 years,WacoTrib said, quoting court officials. Hearing has been set for July 10.

Six Boko Haram Members Arrested in Imo State Planting Bombs in Winners Chapel Church
six suspected Boko Haram members were arrested in Imo State in the early hours of Sunday inside the Winners Chapel Owerri, along Port Harcourt road, by the Imo State police command, while planting bombs in the church premises. According to an eye witness account, the security personnel attached to the church noticed strange movements within the church premises and monitored their movements. The security men alerted the senior pastor of the church, Moses Oyedele who instructed them to alert the police which they did and the Police immediately rushed to the scene with soldiers and other security agents. In the process, it was discovered that about six suicide bombers have taken over the church perpetrating their nefarious activities. The source said that the police immediately cordoned off the church premises in search of the suspects leading to the arrest of the suspects. It was discovered that the suspects had planted a bomb at the entrance gate of the church and had taken position round the premises of the church so as to plant more bombs. The police anti-bomb squad which detonated the bombs, conducted a thorough check round the premises so as to detect any hidden bomb within the premises. When interrogated the suspects confessed to be suicide bombers who had stormed the state with the intention of bombing five churches within the state.
The church authority on getting the information in respect of the latest development alerted members of the congregation to relocate the service to the Heroes Square near Imo Concorde Hotel where they conducted their first service which was supposed to begin by 7am
When contacted, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Adbulmajid Ali advised the citizens to be very vigilant now that the Boko Haram men have penetrated the State.
He confirmed that the anti- bomb disposal Unit of the state police command has detonated bombs, adding that investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident was being carried out.
